Combining years of musical experience & passion for acoustic, detailed arrangements, Sunsets add a unique full sound to classic songs and put an original spin on music from many genres and eras with their unique combination of two experienced guitarists & one strong vocalist.
Sunsets can bring unique entertainment to the very smallest or largest venues, with very competitive prices. With a wide range of varied songs on their thought-out setlist,

THE TAP & GRAPE BROADSTONE
Sunsets were so excited to play at The Tap & Grape bar in Broadstone recently! The atmosphere & audience were incredible, especially with joining in with some classic crowd pleasers!

PRIVATE BIRTHDAY PARTY
Did you know you can book Sunsets for your private parties and celebrations?! Well you can!
We recently performed at a private 30th birthday party in Wimborne and loved it!
Here are a few snippets of some of the highlights from the evening! The birthday girl also had this to say:
"I was lucky enough to have Sunsets perform at my 30th birthday party. They performed a great range of covers, and my friends absolutely loved singing and dancing along! The band created such a great atmosphere at the event and I would 100% recommend them to anybody looking for music for an upcoming event!"

MARTIN MUSIC FESTIVAL
Sunsets were so thrilled to have been asked to perform at this years Martin Music Festival in Fordingbridge, raising money for Wave 105's Cash for Kids!
The festival was originally meant to be taking place in July but sadly due to Covid and a change in restrictions, it had to be postponed - much like so many events over the last 18 months! But we were SO beyond excited the new date had finally arrived!
The crowd were AMAZING and we received such lovely feedback! We enjoyed every moment of this festival and can't wait until the next one!

SUNSETS AT AUNT FANNY'S PIZZA NIGHTS
We were SO beyond excited to announce that Sunsets would be performing live at Aunt Fanny's Farm Shop & Cafe's famous pizza nights!
We've loved performing there, each time the crowd has been amazing, singing along, dancing and being so supportive!
We can't wait to perform again at Aunt Fanny's for something a little more cosy during the winter..keep an eye on our page for full details of this soon!

DORSET GLIDING CLUB EVENT
Sunsets were so overwhelmed to be asked to perform at the Dorset Gliding Club end of year party!
We had a great time performing to the members of the Dorset Gliding Club at their BBQ party! They got so into all the songs which was amazing! We are even more excited to hear they would like us back next year! We can't wait already! Keep an eye out for further details of this next year!

ABOUT US
Sunsets has brought three incredibly talented and experienced musicians together who have a love of acoustic, blues, pop and country music.
Sunsets incorporate these styles together creating a tight, original and emotive sound.
Creating their own unique versions of some of the greatest songs written with their natural talent and styles brought together, along with a love of music and passion to perform.
MEET THE BAND
Kayleigh: Vocalist
Kayleigh's passion for singing started at a young age after being inspired by big voice diva singers. After vocal training and gaining experience being on small stages, this led to Kayleigh taking part in a number of singing competitions around the South Coast.
These included reaching the semi-finals of Open Mic UK where over 10,000 singers applied. Kayleigh impressed the judges made up of recording artists, talent scouts and record labels with her original arrangements of popular songs and unique voice which was described as sounding ‘soulful’, like ‘velvet’ and having 'natural light and shade’.
Kayleigh is also part of a Bournemouth based choir, performing a range of soul, pop and musical theatre songs. She enjoys harmonising in a ‘feel good’ choir as well as performing solos.
After trying to find the perfect band to be a part of, Kayleigh discovered Tony and Lee at the early stages of creating an acoustic trio. With a combined love for stripped back acoustic arrangements, and putting a new spin on different styles of music, 'Sunsets' were created!
Tony: Guitarist
Tony picked up his first Guitar aged 13 and has hardly put one down since. His early career comprised of mainly writing and recording, leading to working with originals bands such as 'Out of Order' and 'Tomboy' as well as writing for numerous solo performers and bands.
More recently, his live work has been diverse and varied including touring with an 'Elvis' Tribute Show and Rock band 'Backyard Jam' before indulging his love for Jazz and Funk guitar by forming 'Sister Chic' with long time collaborator; Lee Hodgson.
After always having a love of, and a talent for, acoustic music and intricate arrangements, Tony was inspired to take on a new challenge and start an acoustic band with an ambitious and original style.
Experimenting with unique acoustic arrangements together with Lee and naturally creating an unforgettable sound, they decided to create 'Sunsets'!
Lee: Guitarist
Lee studied music from an early age and graduated from music college as an accomplished classically trained guitarist.
Developing his talent and incredible technical knowledge, Lee plays many instruments and has played, written and engineered for numerous artists.
Over the years, Lee has played live extensively both as a session player and with bands such as 'Dreams in Colour' as well as a bass guitarist for funk band 'Sister Chic'.
Lee has gained an exceptional amount of experience of different styles of music throughout his music career. From jazz and funk to country and blues, the combined experience has led him to perfect intricate acoustic guitar solos using his impressive finger picking style creating the unique and enduring 'Sunsets' sound.
